I spent more time reading information on the federal advisory meeting taking place this Friday that I will attend to prepare myself for the key topics to listen for. Yet the coolest thing today was at the end, when I found myself with some free time on my hands. I went to the Niels Bohr Library down the hall from my office area and asked to see some of the original FYI newsletters in their archives.
FYI started as a paper newsletter in 1989. Eventually it became digital when the Internet took off around 1993, and so the FYI published 1993 and after are online. While the library is working on digitizing the FYI newsletters 1989-1993, that is still a work in progress, so I decided to see the physical copies for myself.
