A letter to my visitors
When I first created this website more than 10 years ago, I had no idea the turns my life would take to this point. I created the website as a way to promote my books, but over time it has become a platform for my blog, where I share all the places I travel. Since high school, I moved away from the fiction writing that predominated my free time and launched myself into journalistic and academic forms of prose, working to gain the most well-rounded skill set I could.

Now associate managing editor at The American Ceramic Society, I look back fondly on all the opportunities I had during my undergraduate and graduate degrees. Presenting my research at multiple physics conferences; covering science policy news in Washington, D.C.; creating the official Flickr account for the ATLAS Experiment at CERN. These are just a sampling of the many experiences my student years afforded me, and all together they have helped me to become a science communicator ready to leave her mark on the world.
I hope you enjoy exploring my site, and if you have any questions or comments, feel free to send me a message through the Contact tab above. Cheers, everyone.
A walk through time
